“Marc worked as our Game Writer on our game called Lost In The Open. He worked well autonomously and quickly learnt how to navigate Unity in order to work with our in-house visual scripting tool for creating new events in our event system for our tactical roguelike game. He revamped 100+ existing scenarios and has created about 150 new ones. He fleshed out the worldbuilding and lore of the game both via the hundreds of scenarios which implicitly conveyed how the world works, but also through internal worldbuilding that served as inspiration for the artists and designers to build more engaging content, whether that be characters, abilities, items, UI, etc.

“I was originally looking for a scriptwriter when I hired Marc, but after showing him our progress, we collaborated with the idea of shifting the narrative. Thus I left him in charge of fixing our narrative and recreating it fleshed out in the form of a detailed flowchart that our entire team used. He kept the core themes and characters as I asked, and provided excellent feedback in my blindspots. He also listened to my feedback and worked with it accordingly. After the completion of the flow chart, he worked on the script in just the same way, and I am very satisfied with his work.
